He's Here!!!!

Walker's Here! A 6 lb., 14 oz. baby boy, he was 20.25 inches long.

Ashley had just laid down Wednesday night at about 10:30 p.m. when her water broke. We took off to the hospital, and they had her in the OR around 1:00 a.m. He was born at 1:30.

Everything looks great. He seems healthy and is nursing well. I don't think I have stopped grinning in the last 34 hours.

We should be able to go home tomorrow or Sunday.

He's still breech. C-Section on Friday.

We did another ultrasound yesterday. Walker is still breech, so we are on for the C-Section on Friday. We also went to the hospital to take care of all the admitting paperwork yesterday so we would be good to go Friday.

The C-section is set for 12:30 p.m., and we will probably have to stay at the hospital until Sunday or Monday. They normally allow only one other person in the operating room, but our doctor agreed to let Ashley's sister, "almost Dr. English Rockholt", come in as well, which is good because I get to go with Walker while English stays with Ashley afterward.

I will be posting pictures as soon as I can after he gets here, so stay tuned.

Eight Pounds and Breech! C-Section Imminent!

The ultrasound today revealed that young Walker is a little less than 8 pounds and breech. We will be going back to the doctor Tuesday to see if he might do a flip, but the doctor said he probably won't. If he does not flip, the doctor said we are going to have a C-section on November 11, 2005, at 12:30 p.m.

He was hiding his plumbing, so we we unable to confirm that he is a he.

I will be posting the ultrasound pictures tomorrow.
